Message: My apartment has a carport--something I've never had before and is excellent during winter. Maintenance issues are handled professionally and in a timely fashion. The leasing agent continues to be a good person and a professional. Also, this is a no-smoking property, which I find excellent. Lived here over 6 years and I'm very glad for it.

Message: I have consistently experienced the best residential support services of my life with Foreside Estates. The staff are friendly and helpful. Anytime I have submitted a maintenance request I have received a prompt response. Whether it was changing light bulbs, servicing the plumbing and electricity, Maintenace quickly and thoroughly ensured that I have an optimal living environment. The grounds are safe and beautiful, and the pool is pristine! I intend to continue renting from Foreside for the remainder of my years in Falmouth, and I strongly recommend their properties. In some ways, your property management company can make or break your living experience and with Matt, Nick and Julia it's all in the service. I couldn't be happier!

Message: Firstly, the grounds are beautifully maintained which makes it enjoyable to take a walk around the property where everything looks is clean. This property is so well designed that no matter which apartment you live in, you get a lot of privacy. I live on the second floor and although my bedroom faces the parking lot side, all I see are trees from my bedroom windows. The sliding glass door and the window in my living room also give me a view of trees and it is pretty much like this for most apartments.. Secondly, being an elder tenant I appreciate living in a community with tenants of all ages. Children, grandchildren and dogs are fun to observe. The Tenants I have come across have all been helpful, respectful and happy which says a lot about their satisfaction with living at Foreside Estates.. Although small, the playground is a much welcomed attraction for my occasional small visitors. Before I moved here I thought “Oh boy, I am really going to take advantage of that swimming pool” but the air conditioner keeps my apartment so cool and comfortable that I only used the pool twice this year. My apartment is well insulated so there are no cold drafts in the winter.. The walls are a bit thin as I can hear my neighbor snore at night sometimes, but in this situation I turn on a small fan that overrides snoring noises, not a big deal really.. I live in a one bedroom apartment upstairs which offers the perfect amount of room for my bedroom and computer furniture as well as plenty of walk around room, plus it has a huge closet. I have a huge storage room off the hallway which would easily fit two bicycles plus more stuff. My living room is also perfectly spacious. The galley kitchen maximizes space and is just fine when I am the only one using it, but it gets a little crowded when there is more than one person using it such a baking with a friend.. The only Senior Leasing Agent I have transacted with so far is Julia Vattaso. The best adjectives I can use to describe her is diligent, knowledgeable and an all-around competent professional.. From my experience, Maintenance is equally respectful. Work requests are usually handled within a few days if not right away. The maintenance person I have mostly had contact with is Nick who is friendly as well as knowledgeable and competent. When something needs fixing,. I hope he will be the one showing up because I trust him.. I don’t have to shovel snow in the Winter or mow grass in the Summer or rake leaves in the Fall which makes my life sooo easy.. The only changes I wish for would be a bigger kitchen. Also the deck off the living room is not very wide and is meant to be used as a fire escape. Jus a big white board instead of slats goes the deck so that when you look out from your living room door, all you see is a big white board and tree tops above that. Sure would be nice to have a deck meant to be a deck.. I have lived at Foreside Estates for almost two years now and have no plans to move anytime soon.

Message: This nice crispy morning I stepped out my front door to go to our very convenient laundry room right by my apartment.. I heard a rustling in the woods across from me and looked up to see the most beautiful deer, she was just amazing, she looked right at me and then heard something and turned and ran back into the woods.. It made my day to see that Doe this morning, and I just love being back in my home state of Maine and in this lovely community we have here at Foreside Estates. I am feeling blessed. And isn't that what Thanksgiving is all about?. Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

Message: The folks at Foreside Estates have been helpful and thoughtful every step of the way, including offering us a larger unit when one came available. Then there was the kind note in our kitchen on move-in day. We’re so happy to have found a home here.

Message: I have lived at Foreside Estates in a town home for 3 years with my 2 sons. It has been perfect for us. Location is amazing and the grounds are beautiful. The townhouse is a great size with 3 bathrooms! Walls are thin but that is to be expected. It has been lovely not worrying about maintenance or snow removal for a few years! Highly recommend this place.

Message: We have been living at Foreside Estates for just over two years. We are very pleased with the responsiveness of the front office (thanks, Julia! ) and appreciate the efforts to organize community-wide events such as the book club and potluck dinners. The complex is quiet and the crew who maintains the grounds do a nice job. We love having a patio and views out to the water. And also enjoy the easy access to nearby shopping, walking paths and access to Portland. Snow plowing/shoveling is not great around my unit--but that is more a reflection of the company hired. Other areas are better maintained. Hopefully this will be addressed before the coming winter season.

Message: My family and I have been living in a townhouse here for over two years. The office and maintenance staff are very helpful and friendly and we have usually had any maintenance issues taken care of pretty quickly. The grounds are well kept and we really enjoy the pool in the summertime. Also, the gym is a nice amenity. The community feels very safe and our neighbors are nice. The property is convenient to local shopping with Walmart, Shaws, RiteAid and a movie theater all within walking distance. Major highways are all close and downtown Portland is only a few minutes away. I do wish secure, sheltered storage was available for bikes, kayaks, etc. Also, building exteriors could use some love. Overall, though, we have been happy here.
